ABOUT DR. KANOKPHORN THONGLERT
Dr. Kanokphorn Thonglert graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, and completed her residency in radiation oncology at the same institution in 2020. She further advanced her expertise in proton therapy and gastrointestinal cancer as a visiting scholar at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA, from 2023 to 2024. Additionally, she was a visiting scientist at the proton center at the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) in Switzerland for one month between March and April 2024.
Dr. Thonglert specializes in proton therapy and advanced radiation treatments, including IMRT/VMAT, stereotactic radiotherapy (SRS/SRT), MRI-based brachytherapy, and adaptive radiotherapy. Her primary focus areas include hepatobiliary cancer, colorectal cancer, anal canal cancer, renal cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer, and uterine cancer.
She is dedicated to offering personalized treatment options tailored to each patient’s specific needs and goals, ensuring that the care provided is both effective and compassionate.
