HPSP director presents Thailand’s status of particle therapy at PTCOG-AO 2022
Dr. Chonlakiet Khorprasert – The Director of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri SIrindhorn Proton Center (HPSP), was invited to present the topic of “Particle Therapy in Thailand” at the 2nd annual meeting of the Asia-Oceania Particle Therapy Co-operative Group (PTCOG-AO) which was held during 2-3 December 2022 at Jeju, South Korea. Dr. Khorprasert shared the stories behind the foundation of HPSP, the process of construction and machine installation, and our experience during the first two years of operation.
The PTCOG-AO 2022 was held in a hybrid format. The theme of PTCOG-AO 2022 was “Re-joining PTCOG-AO, Building Bridges, Improving Qualities”. The conference aimed to form an inclusive meeting place for people in the related field to discuss and share fundamental and innovative knowledge & technologies related to different educational/scientific aspects in general.
